SoundTouch 300 and Acoustimass costco

What are the content differences with the sound bar is the remote the same, does it have the headphones etc...

What are the spec differences in the Acoustimas 300 And the unit you get at Costco?

Hi Hurlamania,

Thanks for the question.  The SoundBar and remote are the same, and it does have the AdaptiQ calibration headset.

The bass module that comes with the system sold at Costco is smaller, with a 5.5" driver instead of the 10" driver that is in the AM300.

Maybe the Costco one will actually work.  The ones sold elsewhere are being returned in droves becasue of the ARC issues.

Thank you for the question. The Compact Acoustimass, has a 5.25" driver whereas the full size Acoustimass 300 has a larger 10" driver. The increased driver size will yield an increase in output. If there are any users who have compared the two side by side, we'd love to hear about their experience!

Apologies, I saw your reply to syed , and that answers my question. Thanks so much for your help. I saw this causing a lot of problems with Samsung TVs, will it work with mine? Also, what’s the hdmi arc?

A few things I'm looking to get this but I have a 55" Samsung 800D 4k tv what issues will I have? And what are the arc issues everyone it's returning these for?

Also shouldn't Bose have compared the AM 300 and the Costco unit prior to selling it?
