I disagree with these statements. You would think that if these are non-issues then why are there posts that started in 2016 and still ongoing in 2018? Also, one wouldn't be getting different instructions on setting up the system - depending on who you talk to. I was told that HDMI ARC doesn't work well and I should not be using it - this is one example. Another thing they told me at that time was the newer version of the software had fixed the issues - but I was running that same software version and encountering problems. 

 

I even consider returning both the soundbar and subowoofer.

No more Bose products for me
Way overpriced and can’t even make it work like the manual says

Evidently, some people have problems with HDMI ARC.  However, that would be dependent on the TV you are plugging into.  I have an LG OLED C7P and HDMI ARC works perfectly.  I have my OPPO DVD and U-Verse plugged directly into the TV HDMI in.  I have a Microsoft Display Adapter plugged into the Bose ST300 HDMI in for casting HBO Go from my computer.

 

It all works perfectly.  I simply followed the instructions that come with the Bose.

No difficulties just the light That won’t dim
It’s good sound but not 1500$ Worth... (with subwoofer)

Mine is worth $1700 with subwoofer and rear surrounds.
