27 days and I still can't get Soundtouch to play my music library, Most every day I spend 30 to 90 minutes trying to reboot computer, reboot router, reboot Soundtouch 10, 20 and 30 speakers. I check that Itunes is sharing, I remove the music library and add it back, search internet etc., etc., etc..... nothing works.
If I can even get to the music listst I Always get "Loading" for a minute or more and then the wothless Hmm that didn't work and 1046 or 4023 or others.

Hi! are you using Itunes in Windows or Mac?
Try to disable your anti-virus to see if it will work. You can also try disabling your computer's firewall.
Hi, I'm using Windows 7 Premium for Itunes. When I turn off antivirus no change. When I turn off firewall for private and public it works. When I turn firewall back on music stops a few seconds later. I checked and it seems that SoundTouch, SoundTouch App, and SoundTouch Music Server are all in the firewall exceptions list.

Try these ports as well (was a solution from Bose some time ago and I saved the pic)
Did solve the problems for the other guys ...
Added ports as listed.. to no avail. Within a minute or two of turning windows Firewall back on the music stops, and SoundTouch app will not play.
Thank you for the posts and all the details. What is the firewall and/or antivirus on your computer? Also what is network adapter set to (public or private)?
Let us know the results.

What is the firewall: Windows Firewall
antivirus on your computer: Avast Free
network adapter set to (public or private)? Currently set to Public
Thank you for the update. I noticed you said it works when you disable the windows firewall. Is the SoundTouch app, SoundTouch Music server and SoundTouch helper all added and checked off for both public and private in the firewall? Also, do you have media sharing enabled?
