SoundTouch app on PC not working on initial download

I am extremely disappointed that nobody has replied to my request for help sent 10 days or so ago to customer support! Maybe somebody in the community can help as I have not as yet been able to use my new system.

I downloaded the App onto my PC which appears to have loaded okay but when the SoundTouch screen opens from the desktop icon, a pop up states "SoundTouch application has stopped working" a problem caused the programme to stop working correctly. I have removed and re-loaded many times.
