SoundTouch app update loop

I have a SoundTouch 30 and two SoundTouch. I've just tried to use the system after two weeks on vacation and have a number of new problems. Opening the app it tells me to update. When I do so, it tells me to update again, over and over again.

Also one of the 10s has completely vanished from the group. If I try to reconnect it, I get the message checking for updates. Sometimes it just hangs and sometimes it downloads the update then closes the app. On reopening the same process starts all over again.

I've even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but the same thing happens. I am using a MacBrook Pro with Mojave, The same speaker is also missing via the app on my iPhone 6, with checking for up dates just hanging when I try to reconnect.

Any ideas?

Re: SoundTouch app update loop

My Mac on High Sierra is also looping the app update. I managed to update the iphone app and both speakers and Tune in now works etc, so it's just the Mac app that's a problem now.

Re: SoundTouch app update loop

Had the same issue on my I Mac. I bought 2 ST 10 last monday the day that Bose switcht from Vtuner to TuneIn. The reason you receive a lot of updates is because of this change of internet radio feed. On my I Mac I had to deinstall the App en reinstall the latest ( SoundTouch-app-installer-20.0.3-2519-e12992f ) manually. I can not change the language from English to Dutch.

Re: SoundTouch app update loop

Same problem on my two Macs, one running Mojave and the other High Sierra. The update feature consistently crashes.

I got the update installed by removing the Soundtouch app and reinstalling.

Re: SoundTouch app update loop

Sorry Joel

I've already tried that after seeing it suggested in another post and it made no difference. It still keeps demanding an update repeatedly.

Re: SoundTouch app update loop

How did you uninstall the app, did you use the uninstallSchermafbeelding 2018-11-23 om 18.47.19.png included in the programm itself or did you dragg the icon to the dustbin.
