Soundbar 500 - LED light constantly running left to right


I have turned on my Soundbar 500 today after returning from holiday and the LED light is stuck moving from left to right (indicating some sort of software update) however it has been like this for hours.

The Bose App keeps coming up with ‘Something went wrong [C3].

Have tried unplugging and leaving for a while however light comes back on immediately doing the same thing when I plug it back in...

Any help would be appreciated as I’ve not had it long and am a bit disappointed.

I'm sorry to see the issues you're running into with your Soundbar 500, but I'd be happy to help.


Can you test by performing a factory default on your soundbar? Instructions can be found HERE.


If that still is unable to fix the scrolling LED issue, we'd suggest to contact support for service.


You can find the number by going HERE, selecting your region, scrolling to the bottom of the page and choosing "Contact Us."
