Soundlink Color II won't reset/update

My mom bought me a Bose SoundLink Color II because my laptop is mute, which means it doesn't have its own speaker. I was enjoying it for a few months, and it everntually quit charging. I followed the instructions on the other topics, but nothing happens. I even tried to update it and connect it to my laptop, still nothing. Everything just seems boring without music now. Is there anything else that I can do to continue troubleshooting?

Thanks for the post, and I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're having with your SoundLink Color II!

 

Are you able to do a factory reset on the speaker?  Give this a shot and let's see if it helps.

 

To reset the system:

 

Note: A reset returns the system to its default state, which clears paired devices and language selection

  1. Turn on the system
  2. Press and hold the Power button for about 10 seconds until the Bluetooth indicator blinks blue and a voice prompt instructs you to select a language
