Soundtouch 10 and 20 sound output

Hello Bose Community,

I am trying to find out the sound output the of the Soundtouch 20. I learned today that the Soundtouch 10 has a MONO output. This was disappointing form Bose. So, before spending $350.00 on the SoundTouch 20 I would like to find out whether the sound is also MONO or Stereo. I searched through their website, but the technical specs are very superficial.

Re: Soundtouch 10 and 20 sound output

Hi mdiaz27,

All Soundtouch systems (10/20/30) are MONO speakers.

So far, only the ST10 offers the possibility to create a Stereo pair by pairing two ST10.

Cheers,

Central

Re: Soundtouch 10 and 20 sound output

Hi mdaiz27

You are correct the Soundtouch 10 is mono by itself with the ability to be stereo paired as mentioned by CentralBK, but the Soundtouch 20 & 30 are stereo units by themselves so do not need to be stereo paired even though the option would be very sweet should it ever becomes available.

Hope this helps.

Re: Soundtouch 10 and 20 sound output

Hi mdiaz27,

FullOn is rigth, the ST20 (and I guess then the ST30 as well) is a stereo speaker, even though I never noticed that with my devices about 3m away. I did test my ST20 today with a stereo signal (left only, right only) and was sitting right in front of it.

Sorry for the missinformation.

Cheers,

Central
