The Bose Community Forum was launched at a time when robust online support was not available for Bose customers. Over the past several years we have added new online service channels that provide a more interactive and complete digital experience. Additionally, we have enhanced the My Bose Account capabilities to deliver a more personalized and self-service experience. As a result, Bose has made the decision to close Community Forum for Consumer electronics products on September 30th. The Bose Pro portion of the Community will still operate as usual.
Please visit our support homepage to experience one of our many other digital service channels or simply use your Community log-in credentials to sign in to your My Bose Account to view your orders and view support options.
Thank you to all who have contributed and benefited from interacting in our Community. We look forward to continuing to serve you online.
Since I upgraded my soundtouch 20 to 16.0.9 the Aux Input Latency has increased significantly. It can not be used with a TV or game console !!!! What a shame for a Bose Product !!!
Sorry to hear about the issues you're having with your SoundTouch 20 system.
Have you tried any troubleshooting? Can we try a power cycle of the system? Also, have you tried different devices connected to the AUX connection?

hi - i have a soundtouch 30 and the aux delay is rendering it useless when connected to my dj controller
1-2 second latency
i have tried a tech 101 of turning off, unplugging and waiting a minte or so before restarting, however the problem persists
there are numerous threads highlighting this issue, but none appear to have any form of resolution
is there an upgrade in the pipeline which will fix for this issue?
if so when? if not, and even in the meantime, how else can this be fixed?
Thanks for your post and your question.
I've done a little research and looked at some other topics on the Community dealing with the same question. Currently it isn't possible to remove or change the delay from the AUX input. If an update is released to counter this, we will of course notify our users in advance.
I have heard of some devices being capable of inducing a video delay (or speeding the audio up by a few seconds). I take it that this setting isn't possible on your DJ Controller?
A power cycle is when you unplug the power from the system for a set amount of time. We usually recommend unplugging for 30 seconds from SoundTouch systems.
