Soundtouch 30 Wont Connect to Wifi

As the title says, I cannot get my Bose speaker to connect to wifi. I am a college student living on campus, so I need to enter my username and password to connect to the wifi here. When I try to connect speaker to wifi via the Soundtouch app it only gives me an option to enter the password, and not username. Ive been using bluetooth, but would like to get it connected to wifi. Does anyone know a possible solution to this?

Re: Soundtouch 30 Wont Connect to Wifi

Hi ttilly0204,

Thank you for your inquiry. SoundTouch speakers were engineered to be used on private home networks. It may be possible to get these speakers to work on larger corporate or school networks, but they weren't intended to be used in this manner. You will need to work with your network administrator to inquire whether or not you will be able to connect a SoundTouch speaker. Also, please note that by connecting a SoundTouch speaker to a network like this, it may be possible for anyone on the network to be able to access your speaker.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Best regards,

Brian - Bose Support
