Soundtouch 30 series III - magnetic shielding?

Does anyone know whether these speakers have a magnetic shield within? I'm asking, as I've just placed one near a NAS box  - about 30cm apart. I wouldn't want to find my HD-drives dead in a few weeks / months.

On a previous occasion I had two external HDDs and a laptop HDD all die beyond recovery for being placed within a meter of an unshielded logitech subwoofer. After seeing some plants die that were near it, - I sold it off with a warning.

I ran into wifi issues placing my ST 30 speaker too close to the router. I now use ethernet. Don't tempt fate, move the drive.

Re: Soundtouch 30 series III - magnetic shielding?

Thanks, - I’ll move the drives, and relocate the wiresless router. I was having issues with the connection and restarting it every couple of hours. Now I know better.

Cheers,
