I can't get my soundtouch app installed on my Mac to find my soundtouch 30. Each time I click on the wireless option to connect, it just offers me the USB option. I have tried connecting via the alternative method (amber wifi icon, connect to 'Bose ST 30 (DD7443)' and log in with browser), but when I try to login to http://192.0.2.1, the browser just says "you are not connected to the internet"!!
Naturally I have tried rebooting the speaker, the computer, the router. Makes no difference.
So if a Bose admin is responding to this, PLEASE don't just send me this link:
Ok, I think the problem may be solved. I managed to connect to the ST 30 through wifi using my iphone and all the software in the ST 30 seemed to get updated. Since that happened, I seem to be able to connect to the ST 30 with my Macbook pro. So problem fixed for now . .
