Soundtouch 300 + Acoustimass 300 + Acoustimass 500/700?

I currently have the 300 soundbar and 300 bass module

unable to source a second 300 bass module, is it possible to connect the 500 or 700 as a secondary wall shaker?

Hi Maaattt,

Thanks for writing in!

If you wanted to add a secondary bass module to the setup, the Bass Module 700 would be the only compatible bass module to work in tandem with the Acoustimass 300.  The Bass Module 500 was designed to work in tandem with a secondary Bass Module 500 and cannot be added to an Acoustimass 300 or Bass Module 700.

Hi Maaattt,

Thanks for the reply.  It sounds like the way the song was mixed they added a lot of effects to the low bass note which could be causing this distortion.  Is the bass level increased above the middle position?  Do you notice this happening on other songs with deep bass?  Are you able to try a different music source like Pandora or Spotify?

Let us know so we can further assist!

Warm Regards,
