Soundtouch app will not install.

Capture(a).JPG When trying to install a freesh copy of the SoundTouch App, I get the following error message, there are no instances of the old version left as far as I can establish, regedit is clean for SoundTouch, can someone advise how I can overcome this problem and just get a working version? I have Windows 10 (64bit).

Hi kevo279,

Thanks for writing in!

This definitely sounds like a registry issue and I would recommend reaching out to an IT specialist about this particular issue.

Re: Soundtouch app will not install.

Sadly without knowledge of the registry entries used by BOSE, I cannot see how the registry can be cleansed? If anyone knows or BOSE can assist, I doubt as they have not answered my email to them.

I have searched by SoundTouch and BOSE but the error message still persists.

Re: Soundtouch app will not install.

Hi kevo279,

Thanks for the reply.

Can you try to run the SoundTouch installer, and instead of "Uninstall" can you "Repair" the installation?

I believe the only records are under "Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software" listed as SoundTouch, SoundTouch Software, and SoundTouchMusic.

As well, I would make sure that there isn't anything listed for SoundTouch under "C:\Program Files (x86)\SoundTouch" and also "C:\Users\*username*\AppData" Local and Roaming.  If so, remove any left over files.

Let me know if you have any questions.
