I've just bought the SOundtouch 300 and am trying to check that it's up to date before adding additional speakers.
I'm trying to do that through the app, but having paired the phone with the bar (at least I think I have, although I have 2 amber lights, not one), it has been at the "please wait" state on the phone for about 15 minutes - is this normal?
Thanks for posting and welcome to the community. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing this.
Firstly I would recommend that you perform a system reset, this can be done via:
Turn the soundbar off
Unplug the soundbar power cord from the power outlet
Wait 30 seconds
Reconnect the power cord
Wait 30 seconds for the system to reboot
I would also recommend that you remove the Bose SoundTouch app from your phone and attempt the set up again.
