TIDAL

Hi Bose!
You probably heard of the new music stream coming up called TIDAL. Sonos is already in talks with them. Is BOSE? It's definitely a must on my SoundTouch. Please keep us posted.

Re: TIDAL

Hi Josie,

We will be adding more music streaming services to SoundTouch in the future! We haven't yet announced a list of which services will be included, but thank you for your feedback on what you would like to see.

Re: TIDAL

I would like to know if there is news regarding TIDAL to SoundTouch? I would think by now Bose would have had TIDAL streaming. Harmon Kardon, SONOS and others already have this. Please let us know.

Re: TIDAL

Has TIDAL been in the pipeline for SoundTouch yet? The rumour has it the sole reason for it be not supported in SA is same as for the missing FLAC playback support - Bose's hardware (DAC) is not capable of reproducing hi-fidelity/hi-resolution audio (note that TIDAL offers a lossless streaming).
It makes my 3-zone Bose SA4 multiroom system geared with Bowers & Wilkins CI600 series qulity speakers a really poor value for money as I can use it for the convenience listening of poor quality sources only (e.g. Internet radio, Spotify or Deezer). Alas, I cannot access my NAS resources via Bose SA either because I archive all my music in FLAC/ALAC format.
I can stream TIDAL on my laptop, on my mobile, on my Loewe TV, on OPPO DVD player. Almost every respected audio gear maker goes for TIDAL support but Bose (Sonos, Bluesound, Linn, Auralic, Mirage, Squeezbox, McIntosh, Wadia, Meridia, Lode, Denon, Harman Kardon, Devialet, Moon, Burmester, Naim and many many others). It's a wake up call, Bose!

Re: TIDAL

I'd like to add my voice to the chorus: Bose, please enable integration with Tidal.

Re: TIDAL

Over 1 Year to implement a suggestion?  A suggestion that most competitors have already implemented?  Come on Bose.  It can't be that hard.
Add Bluesound to above competitor lists with Tidal support.

Re: TIDAL

Hello, I am interested in Tidal asap. I can't believe you still don't support it.
