This morning, Fri. July 14, Updated 3 speakers, 2 20's and 1 30 and 2 out of three made it but one is stuck with the progress bar full. The 2 + Vol down setup does not work. power holding does not work. Access through the app doesn't work. I have unplugged power in hope when the battery dies I can bring back to life.
Brandon, I think you need to read up on this. The 20 does have a built in battery. Gives about 7 to 8 hours. After leaving it unplugged it ran down about 8 hours later and I was able to restore operation. It's the 30 that doesn't have a battery.
I've had this unit known as the soundtouch 20 for 5 years and if it doesn't have a battery it has magical powers to play not connected to ac for 7 hours on my patio. If I could post a picture of it doing just that I'd show you but you are incorrect when you say there is no battery.
Do you have a serial number for your product? It should be located on the back or on the bottom, and will contain 16 or 17 digits. This will identify exactly what product you have.
