Using bluetooth with soundtouch creates lip sync isue

I recently bought the soundtouch 30 and thought I would add two soundtouch 10s to the mix. I use the soundtouch 30 to stream music but I also use it for Bluetooth audio for my television. As soon as I connect play all it creates a 5 second lag between the video and sound. Thinking about returning all three speakers now..... please help

Re: Using bluetooth with soundtouch creates lip sync isue

I've experienced the same problem.  I read somewhere that by unpairing the speakers it reduces the lag, but it's still noticeable.

Has someone found a resolution to this?

Re: Using bluetooth with soundtouch creates lip sync isue

Hi Greggyp89 and Muller,

Unfortunately, our systems do have a delay due to our digital signal processing. Currently, there isn't a way to adjust this. Many apologies for the frustration this has caused.

Thank you

Hi Brent,

I`m having the same issue with my ST300 system but why I don`t facing this issue with my BOSE soundlink?

Re: Using bluetooth with soundtouch creates lip sync isue

Hi Chris82,

You are correct. The sync issue only affects SoundTouch systems and not so much our dedicated Bluetooth speakers like the SoundLink line. The SoundTouch systems have a very different architecture due to the integration of both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Thank you
