We cannot connect to the Bose server right now.

I’ve just brought a new IMac. I can play music from my iTunes through my Bose Soundtouch speaker, however - The Bose app won’t connect to the Bose server

and I’ve lost all the preset radio channels that I had programmed into the speaker when the app was on my old IMac.

the message I’m getting is:

 

We cannot connect to the Bose server right now - 1005.

 

Please advise.

Thanks for writing in!  Sorry to hear about the troubles, but would be happy to help!

 

  • Does the issue happen when you try and play something from a different service like TuneIn or Pandora? 
  • We recently had to end the Internet Radio service which may be what's going on here.  I would recommend taking a look at this thread HERE.
