Why are Bose products so bad?

I have a Bose SoundTouch20 and a 51F94B and they just do not want to Bluetooth to anything. Switch it on and switch it off again and repeat 7 times and if it's in a good mood it might connect to your phone or laptop but quite often sits there like a massive piece of junk which it pretty much is. Sound quality is OK, I mean just OK if you can get it to connect but by the time you've had to muck around with it for half an hour you've lost interest and just use the cheap 20 quid speaker that connects to anything without any messing around.

I can honestly say they are the worst products I have ever bought, inexcusably, embarrassingly bad and would never, and I mean never, buy another Bose product. I'm just waiting for the day when they stop working all together and I can justify to go and buy some decent speakers made by someone else.
