Wifi Connect

I have my BOSE 10 connected through my WIFI to my iPad 12.5 Pro. It works, but every time I go to use it, I have to reconnect. It is very frustrating! I have several wireless speakers and all the others have no issues staying connected. Any help?

Hi Glorybound,

 

Whenever this issue occurs, if you take a look at the front of the SoundTouch 10, what is the status of the WiFi LED all the way on the left? Have you tried to reboot the system and router by unplugging them for a full 30 seconds? Does this issue occur on any other device other than the iPad such as an iPhone or computer?

Thank you for the reply. No, rebooting the router doesn't help, however, it is actually the Bluetooth that is dropping.

Hi Glorybound,

 

Has your SoundTouch 10 ever been connected to your Wi-Fi and had the software updated?  The older versions of software for the system would turn off the Bluetooth on the system after 20 minutes of inactivity.  

 

As well, are you moving the iPad out of BT range of the system?
