Re: error 4501 and 1046

Hi

I performed a normal update on my sound touch.

Turned on the Radio which is normally on all day and no presets work, i have tried turning off and on and also resetting the router and still nothing works. I have removed the speaker and started the set up procedure again and still noting.

It apeears Tune In is not working as no stations can be found, only podcasts.

Please Help!

Will

Re: error 4501 and 1046

Hi All,

Please read the next topic!
Availability of TuneIn service is out of control by Bose itselff and under investigation by the other party!

Re: error 4501 and 1046

Please could you provide next solution as 4501 still occurring after reboot of speaker and internet. Very very frustrating

Hi leobose,

Thank you for posting and welcome to the Bose Community.

I'm sorry to see the error you're running into when trying to stream your favorite stations with SoundTouch, but I'd like to help.

TuneIn as a service cannot be removed from the SoundTouch app as it is an embedded source. There are a few things I can recommend to try to improve your experience.

  • Reboot your SoundTouch system(s) by unplugging from power for 20 seconds
  • Reboot your router by unplugging for 30 seconds and retest

If the errors continue to happen can you let me know what exact stations are producing this error?

Kind Regards,

Joel - Community Support

Re: error 4501 and 1046

TuneIn radio feeds have gone down (Not a Bose problem). I have retuned all of my stations using the RadioPlayer feeds and all is fine.
