The Bose Community Forum was launched at a time when robust online support was not available for Bose customers. Over the past several years we have added new online service channels that provide a more interactive and complete digital experience. Additionally, we have enhanced the My Bose Account capabilities to deliver a more personalized and self-service experience. As a result, Bose has made the decision to close Community Forum for Consumer electronics products on September 30th. The Bose Pro portion of the Community will still operate as usual.

Please visit our support homepage to experience one of our many other digital service channels or simply use your Community log-in credentials to sign in to your My Bose Account to view your orders and view support options.

Thank you to all who have contributed and benefited from interacting in our Community. We look forward to continuing to serve you online.

looking for the correct remote

I have a Wave Music System III, with the WiFi unit serving as the base for the main unit. I am looking for a new remote as the old one is giving trouble - one of the keys is very hard to press.

Bose shows me this one, https://www.bose.com/en_us/products/speakers/speaker_accessories/wave_music_system_remote.html#v=wav...

but the Alarm button are different from the ones on my remote: On mine, the 3 buttons are lablelled 1, 2, and Alarm Setup, while the one that Bose are selling has Alarm On/Off, Wake to, and Alarm Time.

Will it work with my system? It seems that the new one only allows one alarm, while the old one has two....

Thanks!the one that Bose is sellingthe one that Bose is sellingmy old remotemy old remote

Re: looking for the correct remote

Hi there benzi,

Thanks for the question!  While most of the functions will work without issue, I believe that you won't be able to switch alarms and set two alarms.  My recommendation would be to contact your local support center and purchase the correct remote (with multiple alarms) through them.

If you have any more questions, please let us know.

Best,

Brandon

Re: looking for the correct remote

Thanks, but the local distributor is charging an exorbitant amount - over $60.
Will I be able to set one alarm?

Re: looking for the correct remote

Hi again,

Yes, you can set one alarm without issue with the old style remote.

Thanks,

Brandon
