It is not working with my Sony KD-55X7000D either. I have tried almost everything I can find from this forum, but still no luck.
Hi Sharmatarun and Kr1s,
Thanks for the posts!
It sounds like the remote code may be missing from our database. I will put in a request to have it added.
Let us know if you have any other questions!

Thanks for the reply. The code lists normally get updated with each software revision.
Thank you for your reply. After resetting my Soundbar 700, I had paired the remote with my Sony TV (KD-55X7000D) following the instructions in the Bose app. I, however, made the control successfully only once (switching input sources, turning on/off the TV, using the home button). No luck anymore. I can only wait for the updates of the firmware, am I right?
Correct, you will need to wait for the code update in order to fully control your television with the Bose universal remote.
I have exchanged the soundbar to a new one due to several issues. The weird thing is the pair between the new remote and my TV is successful now by manually type in the TV's mode. Is the firmware updated already? Though paired, I can not say the remote is workable, unfortunately. I have to put the remote as close to the TV as possible. Say 10 cm. Any suggestions?
Thanks for the post.
When you're using the Bose remote, the infrared signals to control your television (or any other device) actually come from the front of the soundbar itself. Is the front of the soundbar obstructed by anything like a cabinet or Blu-Ray player?
If there are no obstructions, you may need to obtain an IR emitter for the soundbar by contacting your local support center via phone.
