switching from windows laptop to macbook pro as server

I have been using my windows laptop as the server for my Bose soundtouch but I have now bought a macbook pro and want to use that instead.  I have downloaded the Bose software but don't know where to go from there.

Re: switching from windows laptop to macbook pro as server

Hi Fo,

When you log into the SoundTouch app on your new computer, make sure to use the same Email and Password information you used on the old computer. Doing so should connect it in and import all of your settings automatically.

If you haven't already you will also need to copy all of your music files for the music library onto the harddrive of the Macbook Pro. (SoundTouch cannot play songs stored remotely in a service like iCloud)  and make sure they are imported to iTunes. Then in the app choose: EXPLORE > ADD MUSIC > MUSIC LIBRARY and select the iTunes library on your new computer

If you have further question on these steps or are running into trouble, let us know the details so that we can assist. Thank you.
