I have just received a response from our Consumer Protection body in Australia regarding my claim for refund or exchange. I have deleted the name of my retailer as they unfortunately are being dragged into this albeit having done nothing wrong and they advise they will probably exchange for me to a Sonos regardless.. I really think the only way that Bose will do something is if we take firm action. They are trying to pacify us hoping that this will all blow over soon

Thank you for lodging your complaint with the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation
and Safety – Consumer Protection Division.
If you have provided us with an email address we will use email to communicate with
you but if you would prefer regular post then let us know.
Your complaint will be assessed by a Conciliation Officer who will contact you as soon as
possible. We aim to do this within 10 days but it will usually be faster than that.
Our conciliation service helps consumers and traders resolve disputes as an alternative to
going to Court. Our Conciliation Officer will contact the trader, and try to settle the dispute
through negotiation. We may not be able to get the exact settlement that you want, but we
will try to get an offer that is fair and in line with your consumer rights under the Australian
Consumer Law (ACL) or other relevant legislation.
Consumer Protection cannot force a trader to agree to a settlement or make payments to
you, do repairs or provide additional services. If we can’t get an outcome that both parties
can agree on, or if there is significant disagreement over the facts, you will also have the
option of applying to the Magistrates Court which has the legal power to make an order.
Your name, and the information you have given us, will be shared with the trader as part of
the conciliation. If you have any concerns about this please contact us as soon as possible.
In addition to its conciliation role, Consumer Protection is responsible for prosecution of
traders who breach the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or other relevant legislation. If a
significant breach of the law has occurred and/or we have multiple complaints against the
same trader, your complaint will be referred to our enforcement team. If that investigation
results in a prosecution you may be asked at some time in the future to be a witness.

Thanks for the question.
It's important for us to find out your location when requesting stations to see if the station is available via TuneIn to stream in your region. Some stations are geo-blocked outside of specific areas and will not be able to streamed.

Okay, so is it just me or is this whole geo-blocking explanation some big BS.
Obviously all the radio station worked before their "fantastic" update and were not geo-blocked before so I fail to see why it should matter where we are from.This has nothing to do with geo-blocking but everything with TuneIn not getting the rights to broadcast certain radio stations.

we see a lot of requests, and requests being repeated.
Could you (Bose) provide feedback on those requests, perhaps in a format stating the status?
A table on the website would be nice, or a new forum post with comments disabled.
Like Station name& location, "request received", "implemented", "unable to implement due to legislation", "not implemented yet/in progress" and "denied".
Right now we do not see much positive feedback or progress here in the forum.
Not that there isn't, but we dont see much other than "passed on to the techies".

I can't play any radio channels of the national public radio in the Czech Republic,
they all should be added and can be found here http://www.rozhlas.cz/
Here are the core stations of the Czech public radio playable online in TuneIn, but not addable or playable
using the app in my phone:

I am not listing the regional stations which should all be playable as well. I mean. They all were before.
Now excuse me while I go scream into a bucket.
ETA I am in the Czech Republic trying to listen to Czech radio so please do not try to pull any geoblocking issues on me.

Bose just will not listen! Despite all of our complaints, they state "we are still truly excited to celebrate TuneIn as our core provider of internet radio". Why is Bose the only one excited about this? It's a downgrade, lower quality, less stations, more ads, what is better, Bose?
