We plan to both continue supporting the SoundTouch application and compatible products in the future, and delivering AirPlay 2 to current SoundTouch models sometime in 2019.

This is what i like. Later this year is what they said On June 27.
Now it is 2019. Next month it will probabaly be 2020. And still not saying what current products will be supported just give links to the new products announcement.
Makes me think that all bose wants me to do is throw out the very expensive equipment i have and buy new stuff.
Well bose i will. But none of it seems to say bose any where on it.
Hello All,
I do have some updated information to share on which SoundTouch systems are labeled as "current systems" that will be included in receiving Airplay 2 when it becomes available in 2019
The "current systems" we're referring to are the ones that have the functionality of Bluetooth.
Warm Regards,
Joel
Why don't you all quit moaning and stop throwing your toys out the pram. On June 27 last year was when they were aiming for the end of the year (that's the end of 2017), but Apple didn't even release Airplay 2 until the end of May this year as part of their iOS 11.4 update. If Apple can take almost a year from announcing something to actually releasing it, surly you can cut Bose a bit of slack?
Now just sit tight and wait for next year. It sounds to me like all the Bose SoundTouch range will get an update for this.
Thank you for your recent updates @Joel_D and providing as much information as you currently have. I'm sure they'll be some exiting news to come next year
