Tried setting up my soundtouch to WiFi and cannot find Bose WiFi in settings and amber light stays on even when I unplug system

I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with your speaker. I'd be happy to help.
Are you sure the amber LED stays on when removing the system from power? There is no built-in battery, so the LEDs should all go out.
Have you never used the speaker before? or have you been able to successfully set it up in the past?
