Asus laptop is not connecting to soundtouch 20

What devices were you using that were affected and what version are they on (e.g. Samsung Galaxy S9 on Android 11, iPhone X on iOS14, etc.)

Detailed description of the issue and steps to reproduce

the laptop is not connecting to the speaker. It can sense it, but it only gives the "Remove" option, not the "Connect"

What environment do you experience the issue in? (e.g. noisy office, quiet kitchen, etc.)

at home

When did you start to experience the issue? Did it work correctly previously?

it worked on my older Acer laptop. This laptop is new, I am just setting it up

Any troubleshooting steps you took

I read other forum advices, but none of those apply, so I do not have an idea what I could do

Hi,

I tried through Bluetooth. I tried even turning off my firewall, it did not make any difference.

Thanks for coming back to me! 

 

I would recommend clearing the pairing on your SoundTouch speaker by pressing and holding the Bluetooth button for 10 seconds. Once complete, I would advise heading to the Bluetooth menu on your laptop and removing the connection. Then you should be able to connect like a new connection.
