Bose 500

I bought  Bose 500 home speaker last May 2019. It was working good until last week  . When I switch on today, there is white led sliding left to right  and no display . I double confirm that it is not connected any other device . What is the problem and how could I rectify . Please help

I am sorry to hear this. 

 

Lets restart your speaker. Turn off your product and disconnect the power cord for 30 seconds.

 

When you reconnect your speaker, does this persist?

This LED status will stop once the update is complete. 😊

Home speaker Bose 500

wirh ref to my yesterday post and subsequent reply from Mr . Tegan

Thanks for your quick reply 
 
I have switched on my Bose 500 home speaker more than more than 12 hours . But still it is showing white light sliding left to right . I don’t think it will get updated for so much time 
 
Let me know how to debug the issue

I have done many times (Switch off 30 secs & switch on) and situation is same.

still whit light is sliding for ever 

 

do I have any other choice ?

Have you tried any other troubleshooting? Just so we do not re-advise you?

 

I'd also suggest a factory reset. Do note, this will erase all settings and will restore your product to it's out of box state. 

  • Remove the product from your Bose account. 
  • Simultaneously press and hold the Volume - and AUX buttons for 10 seconds to reset the product.

If this shows no improvements, I would also try performing a manual update. You can do this via the instructions within this link.

Thanks for your detailed instruction.

I have done all trouble shooting methods to rectify but not successful.

Now i am trying to perform a manual update . I have downloaded the updated file from your link 

The speaker display is not working.. how could I know whether it is entered in to service mode .However http://203.0.113.1:17008/update.html is not working and the error shows “ A network change was detected “ ERR_NETWORK_CHANGED

Home speaker 500 bose not working

My bose home speaker 500 is not work not working. It will power up but with no display and a white line light on top just flashes by . 

 

I have tried unplugging 

Resetting 

Deleting from app and resetting and. Still nothing any ideals please help
