Bose and Amazon Alexa

I have loaded system with app. Airplay works and system in set up on my WIFI. It come pre-loaded with Amazon Music and I downloaded Pandora. When I ask Alexa to play eiter, i am told it is off-line. I can use airplay on my phone and play both. How do I activate Pandora??

To start with please can I ask which system you have? It would also be really helpful to know which region you are located in.

Hello rlong,

 

Thanks for getting in touch, I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your Soundbar 500. I would be more than happy to help you with this, I would recommend that you do a product reset. Please follow the steps below:

  1. Turn the soundbar off
  2. Unplug the soundbar power cord from the power outlet
  3. Wait 30 seconds
  4. Reconnect the power cord
  5. Wait 30 seconds for the system to reboot

After this could you please let me know what the LED indicators say?

System came back on, WIFI signal attached, and screen went black.

Thanks for giving that troubleshooting a go and getting back in touch. I am a bit unsure as to what you mean, is the Soundbar still functioning as it should? Is Alexa working?
