Can't set up Wave SoundTouch

I have spent the last hour trying to set up my new speaker and I'm about ready to throw it out the window. I have turned my phone on and off, unplugged my speaker, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and done a factory reboot (each multiple times). Depending on the moment, I either get:

1) an amber light but no setup message on the speaker

2) no amber light, despite pressing onto the control button until my finger bleeds

3) my app telling me to try again or

4) my phone insisting on connecting to the speaker instead of my wifi

 

I just want to listen to music. Please help before this thing drives me into an insane asylum.

I have the same issues, System tells me speakers can not be connected with my account , try later again. I have 3 different email accounts and it tells me all the same. Finally ended up connecting with a cable! Can’t be the solution...

I was actually finally able to get it connected through sheer force of will and possibly a poorly conceived deal with the devil. Man, what a hassle!
