The Bose Community Forum was launched at a time when robust online support was not available for Bose customers. Over the past several years we have added new online service channels that provide a more interactive and complete digital experience. Additionally, we have enhanced the My Bose Account capabilities to deliver a more personalized and self-service experience. As a result, Bose has made the decision to close Community Forum for Consumer electronics products on September 30th. The Bose Pro portion of the Community will still operate as usual.

Please visit our support homepage to experience one of our many other digital service channels or simply use your Community log-in credentials to sign in to your My Bose Account to view your orders and view support options.

Thank you to all who have contributed and benefited from interacting in our Community. We look forward to continuing to serve you online.

Hi Silla,

Thanks for posting.

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with the SoundTouch app displaying a 4004/0 error. This is indicative of an error during the software update process. You mentioned you tried this on multiple devices, what devices did you use? For example, iPhone 12, Samsung Galaxy Tablet etc.

To remedy this particular problem, you can try the following:

- Disconnect your SoundTouch devices from power, then, unplug your router. Keep the disconnected from power for around 5 minutes, then reconnect it. Once your router is connected to the internet again, plug your speakers back in. Once they're all connected to the internet also, please open the app and test again.

I hope this helps, please let me know how you get on! 👍

Re: Error message at launch ST app: 4004/0

I added Amazon music to my soundtouch 10 today and removed it as it wasn't connecting, like it did on my windows laptop. Since tunein was ok enough, I didn't mind removing the Amazon music service. But ever since I did that I'm not able to connect to my wi-fi network(error 4004/0). I've done a factory reset twice (press 1 and - buttons simultaneously) and uninstalled and reinstalled the soundtouch app on my android phone twice as well. Worked once but error came back. I signed out of my soundtouch account and signed in and then the speaker connected back to the network. The problem seems to be Amazon music. Would advise folks to avoid adding the service. I hope Bose team can find a permanent solution to this.
