I'm hoping someone has an idea to assist me.
I just downloaded and installed iOS13 on my iPhone7.
Now when I am playing music on my soundtouch speakers
the volume rapidly shoots to the maximum level when I tap my phone screen.
I attempted to uninstall and reinstall the soundtouch app on my phone, but this did not help.
Thank you for your message, I am very sorry to hear that you are experiencing this after updating your iPhone 7.
What I would firstly recommend is that you reboot your mobile device.
If this does not provide any improvements, can you please also inform us on what SoundTouch Speakers you own so that we can assist you further.
I look forward to hearing from you.
I am glad to hear that this has resolved this issue for you! No need to apologise, we are here to help.
Please come back to the community if you experience any other issues.
Have a lovely day.
The problem is not resolved like I thought. I went to start my speakers again and they shot to maximum volume once again...
It seems to happen when I leave the Bose Soundtouch app and tap my home screen...
Any other ideas will be helpful.
I'm sorry to hear that the issue has occurred again.
Could you please let us know which SoundTouch speakers you have?
Does this happen with any service that you play from SoundTouch?

Every single person who has an iPhone right now with iOS 13 will have this issue. There is a critical speaker-breaking bug affecting all sound touch and smart home speakers. The volume gets stuck on maximum and renders the speakers unusable

I am having big trouble with using Bose music app with iOS 13, it's working fine with old iOS but latest iOS 13 I am having issue. Volume is not behaving properly. It's goes up all time
looks like Bose music app has bug in system.

This has been happening to me on and off for a fair while now, im too scared to use the soundtouch app to control my speakers. It happened when I was in the room with my 8 month old baby.
Honestly, im so disappointed with my BOSE gear, in retrospect it was a waste of money.
Have a LS535iii, ST 10, ST 20, ST 30, 151SE Outdoor Speakers + Amp....
