Problem Accessing Music Library

I am having a nightmare with my soundtouch speaker. It will play radio but not my iTunes music library.  It was doing this fine until a couple of days ago.  I have tried deleting the soundtouch app and re-adding it.  I then wanted to try deleting the music library to try and re-add it but when I selected settings and then music services it just hangs here so I can’t get to the page where I can delete the library.

can someone please help me urgently?  I often have problems like this with this speaker.  It is driving me mad.  Thanks for any help.

I would love to help, can I please start by asking which device you are running iTunes on? I ask this due to the details on this thread here.

If you are fully updated on the Mac/iOS side chances are the iTunes library won’t work anymore. Use Airplay to connect your macOS / iOS device and play your library that way.

I am on a windows 10 computer.  I have been trying to reply to this for days but the site was down so urgent help would be very welcome

@Loobs72 Ensure you have iTunes for Windows. Open iTunes on your PC to view your music library then check Airplay. You will be provided with a list of Airplay speakers and if set up properly your Bose speaker. Once connected play your songs.

Airplay on Bose works well.

It works when I do it through iTunes but I have always played my library using the SoundTouch app and it is this that has stopped working and I am trying to fix.

For some reason it has marked this thread as issue solved but it isn’t

The issue relates to Apple no longer supporting the XML feature of its apps.

I have seen this with other apps that add functionality to iTunes.

To illustrate further, the new Bose Smart Home line doesn’t offer the ability to play music from your iTunes library at all. This all thanks to Apple.

I don’t think this can be blamed on Bose. Apple took the feature away.

It was working fine up until a few days ago.  Also when I open the app and go into settings then music services it just hangs there.  If I click on my music library in the menu it shoes error code 6305

Hmmm you should at least be able to access your other music services. Have you tried to log out of your SoundTouch account and then log back in?
