The Bose Community Forum was launched at a time when robust online support was not available for Bose customers. Over the past several years we have added new online service channels that provide a more interactive and complete digital experience. Additionally, we have enhanced the My Bose Account capabilities to deliver a more personalized and self-service experience. As a result, Bose has made the decision to close Community Forum for Consumer electronics products on September 30th. The Bose Pro portion of the Community will still operate as usual.

Please visit our support homepage to experience one of our many other digital service channels or simply use your Community log-in credentials to sign in to your My Bose Account to view your orders and view support options.

Thank you to all who have contributed and benefited from interacting in our Community. We look forward to continuing to serve you online.

SMART Sound bar 300 with constant running white pulse light

My SMART sound bar 300 won't work since an internet outage.   I have rebooted router, disconnected bar , TV , all cables and connections , multiple times.  I have restarted my phone multiple times.  The Bose music app does not recognize the speaker so I can't set it up.  The white pulse light is running constantly from left to right and cannot be shut off.  I also changed the remote batteries and confirmed there is no problem with IR.   Any suggestions?

Re: SMART Sound bar 300 with constant running white pulse light

Hello Eilcollins and thank you for reaching out.

Sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue with your Soundbar. As the soundbar is showing a white light that is moving from left to right. It is indicating that the soundbar is currently performing an update.

As there was an internet outage, it may have caused the update to loop itself. To rectify this, I recommend that you activate the recovery mode on your soundbar, to help the system refresh itself and push the update through.

You can look to the guide on our support website on how to activate recovery mode here.

Let me know how you get on!

Re: SMART Sound bar 300 with constant running white pulse light

Thank you for your quick response.   I tried the reset but still no luck.  I was however able to return it and exchange for new one.  Again , thanks for responding and for the info, if I have this problem again at least I know what to do.
