I have Soundtouch IV and I am having issues with Sirius XM.  Stops playing intermittently and displays "loading", or will not play at all and displays "select preset".  This is a known issue supposedly related to Sirius servers.  Also, the song titles are not in sync with the music being played.

Same issue.   Sirius keeps "loading" intermittently.  Other times, will not play, saying to "select preset".  Song titles are not in sync with music being played.  Appears to be a known issue, so why can't BOSE get it fixed?

Followed procedure to remove and re-link Sirius account - issue persists.

I am so sorry to hear that the issue still persists after you have re-established the connection. Can I please ask that you ensure that you are running the latest version of the SoundTouch app and that your SoundTouch system is up to date. Once you have done this please can you confirm that it is the Wave SoundTouch Music System IV that you have as I would like to try some troubleshooting with the device itself? 

 

Please, can you let me know the following details so that I can look to help you further?

 

  • What device are you running the SoundTouch app on? 
  • What internal system version is your device running? 
  • What region are you in? 
  • Are you using the paid version of Sirius XM?

Yes, system and app are both current so far as I know.  No BOSE updates pending;  I should note that Sirius app was updated several times recently, but cannot say these updates correlate to BOSE play issue.  Web complaints suggest a server problem causes these issues, and that they are chronic.

  • What device are you running the SoundTouch app on?
    • Samsung Galaxy, either older S6 or newer S8, same issue.
  •  What internal system version is your device running? 
    • Android V9; kernel 4.4.153; patched thru 5/1/19
  • What region are you in? 
    • Northeast (NJ)
  • Are you using the paid version of Sirius XM? 
    • Yes.  Streaming subscription works fine on home WIFI using all other devices (phones, AV RCVR, etc)

Issue is same/present using EITHER SoundTouch app OR simply using Soundwave remote controller...
