I seem to have solved the problem I was having.
I've logged out of the Bose account in the app. I deleted the SoundTouch app and then downloaded the app from App Store again. Loaded Bose account details into ST app. Went to settings in the SoundTouch app, clicked on music services, Spotify, changed music streaming quality to 'fastest streaming' and it seems to have fixed the problem.
Into the 5th song with no issue - not sure which part of what I did has fixed it.

I've the same problem as everyone with the new update
--My technical characteristics:
Soundtouch 20 (2015, series 1?)
irregular and frequent play cuts
direct connection with spotify premium fault
with soundTouch app fault
--It still works correctly:
- Tests already carried out without result:
1 router restart
2 restart (+ 20sec) SounTouch20
3 direct connection by rj45 cable (no wifi), follow the sound cuts

I have a soundtouch10 linked up to my spotify account. I have recorded presets, and one of them is a 35 hour long spotify playlist for sleep music. However, this will intermitently stop in the night, resulting in our little one waking up. Any ideas as to why this may be happening? It is very frustrating, especially having bought the speaker recently for this exact purpose..

A temporary fix for me was to change the streaming quality of Spotify in the soundtouch app from best to middle. Haven’t had a drop out since doing this.
