Soundtouch 300 no longer connecting to bluetooth transmitter

I have a bose soundtouch 300, it used to connect to my wireless bluetooth transmitter.  Now it's like they can't find each other.  I've reset the speaker to factory, cleared bluetooth connections, turned off other bluetooth devices and still nothing.  I know the transmitter works because it can connect to my bose soundlink revolve.  Does anyone have any advice?  I'm pretty savvy but can't figure it out.  My transmitter is connected to my projector and worked last year.  I haven't used for a while.
