Soundtouch Android on Chromebook

Bose Soundtouch App on Android (on smartphones) works, but the Android App when opened from a device with a mouse pointer does not register clicks, only on-screen touches. This means that, in theory, even though the app is usable, it would be completely unusable on a Chromebook that does not have a touchscreen but has the Android App installed.

Detailed description of the issue and steps to reproduce: 

1. Install Bose Soundtouch App from Play Store on Chromebook

2. Log in to existing account

3. Connect all devices successfully

4. Try to change volume with mouse pointer on Chromebook

What environment do you experience the issue in? Within the android app on Chromebook(ChromeOS)

When did you start to experience the issue? Always

Did it work correctly previously? No

Any troubleshooting steps you took

-Uninstall , reinstall app, log in and try to change volume using mouse pointer again.

Hey @bpd489, thanks for posting! 

The SoundTouch app is not compatible with Chromebooks. The desktop version can only be installed on Mac/Windows. The Android/iOS version is intended for mobiles and tablets only. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
