I own a soundtouch 10 , 20 and a 300 soundbar system.
Up until recently I could use my spotify app on my phone or tablet or on my pc and choose any of my devices from the avaliable speakers section.
All of my available soundtouch devices are still showing up but they will no longer connect.
I have rebooted everything and made sure everything is updated.
I can connect using the bose app but with all due respect the spotify app is much smoother to use and I used to be able to use it without any issues.
Any one got any advise ?
Thanks for posting and welcome to the community, I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your SoundTouch devices. I completely understand that you want to use the Spotify app and I would be more than happy to help you with this today. When you say you rebooted your devices can you confirm that is via the method below?
Perform a soundbar reset by following these steps:
I would also recommend removing the Spotify app then re-downloading it then trying again.
I look forward to hearing from you!

Hi Zoe ,
I have done as instructed and it still does not work.
I have also rebboted my router , my pc , my phone.
I have turned off all my soundtouch devices apart from the soundbar and all my phones , tablets so im just trying to make it work from spotify on my home pc to the soundbar.
It just says connecting but never does.
Spotify can see the soundbar for spotify connect but doesent.
If i use the bose app , it works fine.
Thanks for getting back in touch, I am sorry that all the troubleshooting steps you have tried have not worked. Can you test to see if you are able to play Spotify Connect through another device from your laptop? Perhaps a speaker with WiFi? Or another Soundbar?
Please let me know how you get on!
I only have Bose wifi speakers.
I have turned off the soundbar (Pulled the plug) and turned on my Soundtouch 10.
I am having the same issue with that , just hangs saying connecting.
I tried it earlier with my soundtouch 20 and it was the same too.
Thanks for letting me know, it seems to me that since the issue is occurring across all your SoundTouch devices and you have tried every troubleshooting step without luck that it might be an issue with Spotify Connect. I would recommend reaching out to Spotify to see if they are experiencing some issues or if they have had other customers that are also experiencing this same issue.
Please let me know what they advise you.

It's not a bluetooth issue. My bluetooth works fine.
Its playing spotify over the wifi using the spotify app.
Over the weekend I did a factory reset on everything and removed/ reinstalled the bose app and spotify app but I'm still having the same issue.

I am having the same issue. I have to use Spotify through the SoundTouch app which I never had to do before and even then it seems to pause/freeze. I’ve restarted everything as far a sound bar and router/modem. My next set was to reset the sound bar to factory settings.
This seemed to have happened over the last sound bar update. Has to be some kind of hand shake problem between Spotify connect and Bose.
