TuneIn error 4501 (multiple stations)

I am getting a 4501 error when atteempting to listen to multiple stations.

I have rebooted (unplugged for 20 seconds) as instructed in other messages.

I have a SoundTouch 10 and a SoundTouch 20 - same issue on both devices.

The station is 95.5 WSB Atlanta ( I can connect to TuneIn on my PC)

Regards,

Richard

Hello Rdc,

Thank you for reaching out and welcome to the Bose Community.

Having tested this within the office I can see that this radio station is working. This would lead me to believe it is an issue with your SoundTouch app, especially since it is happening on both of your speakers. To fix this issue, please can you try to:

  1. Uninstall and then reinstall the SoundTouch app, this will kickstart the app and also download any updates needed.
  2. Reboot the router. Routers may need to be reset from time to time—much like rebooting a computer. Disconnect power from the router for 30 seconds, then wait for it to start up and connect.

  3. Reboot the mobile being used to with the SoundTouch app.

Should you still have issues after performing the above steps, please let me know as I would love to assist you further.

I look forward to your response.

Kind Regards,

The uninstall / reinstall seems to have resolved the issue.

Thank you

Re: TuneIn error 4501 (multiple stations)

The software MUST be improved indeed. Because the error message "Hmmm.. That didn't work. Please try again (4501)" is very "infornative". So, as far as I see, server is down?

Re: TuneIn error 4501 (multiple stations)

It appears BBC, and possibly others,  have pulled their stations from tune in......

Maybe why I cannot get any stations to work

Bose.....  I beseech u in the sake of my sanity..... please find a replacement network to enable international radio through your app........

Pandora went....  the other app with stations went, something else went......   all we have it apps that wont work in Australia......
