Getting a Hmm... message when checking for updates code (4004 / 503). I have done a search on the forum and can't find any posts with this specific code. Any idea what it may be?
That sounds odd! However, I'm sure we'll find a way of finding a resolution.
What Bose product are you referring to? Is this the first time you're seeing this error code?
It occurred on a new Soundtouch 20 III. I've already got a number of units (a 30, a couple of 10's and 20's plus four soundlinks) so this was the first time I've seen this error code. However, I left it connected for couple of hours and got an update required message on the App and is updated fine so it's working as normal. What threw me a bit was the error code - it's not one I have seen before!!
