Volume starts out way too loud

Hello!

When I first pair my Samsung phone to the speaker, it automatically jumps to about 75% of the total volume.  I then place it down to about 25%.  However, when I go in and begin playing music from my Apple Library the volume jumps back to 75% most of the time.  I wouldn't care too much about this because I like listening to my music loud, but this speaker is at my office, which is in a healthcare facility.  

Thank you for any feedback you can give me on how to fix this issue.
