Will we ever see the AirPlay 2 update for SoundTouch?

Given the importance of this day in SoundTouch history, I wanted to remind all SoundTouch users to take a moment to reminisce. Look back fondly of June 5, 2017, when Bose promised AirPlay 2 was “coming soon” to SoundTouch. Look back to promises made, and promises broken. Broken, of course, only if, like me, your definition of “soon” is different than Bose’s definition of “soon.”  Oh, the memories.

Why after 2 years i am pretty sure it is not going to get implemented. But if you get new hardware maybe.
