I must admit I'm now starting to get frustrated! My account, here, may only be two years old but I'm a Bose custiomer since 1979. Apple, Bose and Sony have been my goto brands my entire audult life!
I'm super frustrated. The vagueness of "we are still planning on releasing the AirPlay 2 update for SoundTouch" makes me feel like this might never happen. They offered to give me a $100 discount off of a newer product that supports AirPlay, but why would I do that? I would just get another HomePod. BOSE!!!

From the other posts I can see that you are working on providing Airplay 2 support to Soundtouch speakers. When I bought the full Soundtouch 600 series the sales assistant promised that it is in the first line that would get Airplay 2 support. I can see that you already introduced it to other speakers. Everyone feels Bose as a company broken promises? How long does it take to introduce this when you have already done it for other speakers range? Is this how Bose treats it’s customers? We waited so long. Don’t you think Bose should replace our speakers for using false sales tactics? Does Bose still have the brand reputation? Don’t you think customers feel that you don’t care as the money already been taken. Don’t you think Bose should take responsibility on this?

So I received an interesting email from a Bose representative today. He said the software development team stated to him that the AirPlay 2 update for SoundTouch is launching end of August 2019. The wait should almost be over...
