An update on our latest release:
When we do a SoundTouch release, we do so in what we call a “Phased Rollout”. This is where certain groups (products, geographies) get the release prior to others as we work to push the update to all users.
During the first phase of this rollout, we encountered an issue that may impact some SoundTouch users and therefore at this time we have paused the rollout. It is precisely for reasons like this that we do phased rollouts. When a fix for this issue is in place, the rollout will resume to additional groups as planned.
As you can imagine, the 4th of July holiday is when many of our U.S. customers rely on their ST systems for their holiday activities. As a result of pausing the rollout, we would likely resume the release during the next week which leads into that 4th of July time frame. In order to avoid the disruption of a software update during this time, we will resume the release during the week of July 10th.
