I cannot connect to my device. I tried to update firmware via usb but it doesn't work. Usb cannot recognize my device. I bought from US but I am at another country rightnow. What can I do?
Today my phone found the soundwear and I connected. Then it disconnected in 1 minute. I think it has a hardware problem. I am using latest software which is 2.6.0
Welcome to the Bose Community, thanks for taking the time to post.
I am sorry to hear you are having issues connecting to your SoundWear Companion. If you haven't already, please power the SoundWear on, then hold the Bluetooth button down for around 10 seconds or until the prompt advises that the device list has been cleared.
On your smartphone/device, go to the Settings > Bluetooth, then look for the SoundWear on the list. Tap on the icon to the right of the name, then remove the speaker.
There should be a Blue pulsing LED on the SoundWear to indicate it is ready to pair. It should appear on the device's Bluetooth list as an available device. If you tap on it, you should be able to make a connection.
If the issue persists, please try to use the charging cable that came with the SoundWear Companion. Not all cables feature data lines in them, which is why your computer may not have detected the speaker.
Please let me know how you get on! If anyone else has similar issues, please feel free to join in the discussion.

I did a factory reset. I deleted all Bluetooth profiles. After few minutes that I turned on the device, device voice changes. It says ready to connect too slow, like a robot voice.
Thanks for posting and updating us on this! I am sorry to hear that this did not resolve your issue and would highly recommend that you attempt to connect to the Soundwear via Bluetooth first rather than via the Bose App.
Please also attempt to connect the Soundwear to another device to see if this issue persists, as well as resetting your mobile device.
Please update us on the result of this and if any other members of the community have also experienced this issue and have an alternate resolution please do let us know.
It cant connect from Bluetooth menu. I tried 3 different phones. Galaxy note 3, iphone xs max, ipad.
It doesn't work. I am in Turkey rightnow. This is a gift US. I dont have any receipt. In Turkey, modern elektronik is the distributor of Bose. I want to change with a new one. But the question is, can turkish distributor change my soundwear with a new one?
Thanks for posting and updating me on this. Please ensure that you are putting the speaker into pairing mode when attempting to do this via:
If this does not resolve this issue please reach out to Bose Turkey via this link here. The team will do their best to assist you with this. I am unable to advise you on this as I don't know the way that Turkish support operates.
I hope this helps and look forward to hearing back from you.
It says "ready to connect". Sometimes I see in the bluetooth menu. When I trying to connect, it says your device is not found. Blue led is blinking when I turn on the device. This device is one week old. I will contact with modern elektronik, if they can't help, I will let you know.
