Re: Can the Bose soundwave speaker interfere with a pacemaker

Hello Yawkeysmom,

Thanks for reaching out today and welcome to the Bose Community Forums.

I would love to assist you, however, I really would need to know which specific system you have. You can use this page here to type in the serial number of your system. This begins with SN and will be on the label either at the bottom or on the back of the system. This will then tell you the specific name of your device. I very much look forward to your response.

Re: Can the Bose soundwave speaker interfere with a pacemaker

I have a newer Medtronic pacemaker and had the same concern. Not being able to get a straight answer to my satisfaction I went to the ultimate source — I took it to a pacemaker device clinic where they are checked and adjusted. They couldn't even see it when it was in place and turned on. Good to go. Said the magnets were too small to play a role. Suggest you do the same so as to get as specific of an answer as possible for yourself and the specific item. Hope you see this. Bear in mind that the Bose item has been discontinued but you still find them around.
