No controls respond--Bose Soundwear

My Soundwear does not respond to any controls except the power button, which shows only the charge level (currently three bars). Resetting by holding the Multifunction and Volume- buttons does not work. Bluetooth pairing does not work. I get no voice telling me the battery level. When I plug in to charge via USB, nothing happens; the charge stays at three bars even over several hours. Has anyone else experienced this or have a solution?

Sorry to hear that you are not getting any response from your Soundwear Companion. This is very bizarre.

 

  • What does the LED status show when you turn on your speaker?
  • Do you get any response in attempting to update the firmware? If you connect to a computer via USB and visit btu.bose.com here you will see full updating instructions.
